Its a pretty neat game. Basic wave shooter with roguelite style gameplay. Neat pets, neat weapons with various effect. It also allows you to equip more than one weapon, unlike pretty much all games of a similar nature. The stamina regen is a little slow, but it can all be done for free. All around good game. The only problem I've seen so far is some of the events seem to not work properly. Got second place in the target practice challenge event thing and got none of the rewards for it. Saw some complaints about events in some of the reviews, but the only one i experienced personally was the target event. Either way, feels and looks close to fable 2 almost with the art style, weapon effects, and the characters. Good for a 5 minute chill with a game.
Pros: very fun, stylish gameplay. Wonderful in every way, but one…… Cons: The “ energy” (keys) and “energy recharge rate” in the game is horrible. You can have a maximum of 5 keys and playing once costs 3 keys. So after one round, you cannot play again for apparently an hour or more unless you pay for crystals. If 15 keys could be stored, it would be better balanced. Or if playing a level only required a single key, it would be reasonable. As is, the game cannot become someone’s “main game” ever. If I delete this game, it will only be because of the poor energy situation.
Why in gods name would you alter the controls the way you did. You had a flawless system and then you change it. Why. I can’t move and attack at the same time. Now I have to play the game with two hands, one to attack and one to move. This is a challenge being that I don’t have a thumb on my left hand due to a incident involving a priest and a cripple, but that’s a song for another time. Please change the controls back and I’ll edit my review to 5 stars. Updated as promised. Appreciate it.
