The intent behind this app is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve been using it for several years now. Initially, it was compatible with Apple Wallet, which made accessing it and using it at grocery stores pretty simple. That support disappeared recently, which meant that when checking out you had to use this app to show the checkout person your barcode. Unfortunately, the number associated with the barcode is hidden, and every place I’ve tried to use just the barcode recently, they’ve had no luck scanning it at checkout. Instead, they have to type in the number. And as mentioned, the number is hidden, and clicking the button to show the number leads to a spinning circle with no end. This app is now effectively useless, which means the benefits I’m supposed to receive through it are inaccessible. Maybe they’ll fix their software at some point, but they started at generally acceptable several years ago and have trended less and less functional. Very disappointing.

We were excited to find out about these savings cards, but once we got them and registered, we realized that the discounts are on the expensive brands, not budget friendly stuff that will help your average Medicaid recipient. Example: save .10 on up to 5 cups of Yoplait yogurt. Even with the discount, we can buy generic for at the very least .10 cheaper than that. Example #2:Apples on the card are expensive and rarely found in Walmart and other stores in our area, but the discount would be helpful if it could be applied to the apples we get they the kids will eat and are far less expensive. Y’all need a reality check and a trip to the store with someone who shops on a real budget!

My husband does our grocery shopping and is always pleasantly surprised (as are the checkout staff) at how much money it saves us on food. We primarily buy fruits, vegetables and dairy products, and always have a significant reduction in the total purchase. I don’t understand how others think it doesn’t save them money. We are very happy with the program!
