GoPlus Cam

I was able to get it to work somewhat, but the settings are in Chinese and I can’t figure out how to change it to English. Video quality is horrible and grainy, definitely not 1080p, and sound quality while listening to music through the earphones is tinny. Phone seems to work well so far. If I can change the language to English I hope to be able to tweak some settings and make it better.

This app connects to my Pruveeo F5 dash cam just fine. I’m able to adjust settings for the camera without having to press its tiny buttons on my windshield. This app also made mounting my camera a lot easier as I could stream the cam’s video live to my phone during alignment. I also love the ability to download videos straight to the camera roll as this could prove useful at the scene of a wreck. The app isn’t super intuitive, but it works. What I would love to see: - ABILITY TO SCRUB THROUGH A VIDEO’S PLAYBACK. If I just want to see a certain part of my drive before downloading I don’t want to have to press play and wait for the video to get to that point, I just want to skip to that part quickly. - ABILITY TO DOWNLOAD 1080p VIDEOS TO THE PHONE. Currently I can only download 720p straight to my camera roll. If I wanted to capture and save 1080p videos I have to take out the SD card and upload it to my PC. It would be nice to download it straight to camera roll just like 720p. - FASTER DOWNLOAD TIMES. It currently takes around 5 minutes to download a 3 minute, 720p video to my phone. Granted these videos are >300MB, it would still be nice to see download speeds improved within the app if at all possible.

Having this camera and the app was a very smart choice I was discouraged by the many bad reviews but the camera price made me go for it. Unlike all the other reviews that lowered my expectations for the app it is working greatly it stream at actual time with no lag at all and the streaming definition is fine you can read a text The connection to the camera is established in fast way without effort and you can stop it end connect again as much as you can the app is very stable. I can control all the options of the camera from the app and the range of the wifi is really big. I can also view and save all the footage wirelessly and the transfer speed is fast. But I cannot save videos larger than 720p to your apple Photos app which is ok anyway. I still can save all the photos and videos of 720p or lower. The motion detection feature is amazing if it detect motion and turn recording on and stop after 10 if the last motion is detected Very nice addition. I am very happy with this will made app that have all the nice features I am using iPhone 6s The camera is working perfectly I tried it for a total of 12 hours of scuba diving and the extra harness that come with it is really helpful for any situation. A bike ride is really nice also I capture very nice footage with it. It is definitely not 4k but it is for sure a very nice crisp footage 720p I would say. And the wide lens is great for all action activities. And you can adjust many options to fit the lighting conditions. The battery life of the camera is amazing and I can charge it using power bank. For the price vs gain I would give both the camera and the app 11/10 it is no brainer.
