Gnome Invaders

I really, really enjoyed playing this game during quarantine. It’s something I sank hours in to and beating all the original levels is a COVID highlight. I only checked the game back out again when the hardmode levels dropped but now I want to take them on and beat the whole thing once and for all. However, I find myself confused about a lot of the game. I remember seeing the hardmode levels months ago when they came out and trying a couple of them, but I can’t find them now. Also, arena and core catch don’t work. I really want to get back into this game so please let me know if I’m missing something or please fix it.

Fun game which requires some strategy and skill. Responsive developers. Enjoy!

Edit: updating review to respond. Game should generally go at twice the speed. More spells more frequently. Feeling of power rather than mostly waiting for spells to reload since they aren’t particularly spectacular. Level map isn’t clear on which levels you’re better off completing to progress. Upgrading cards is clearly a mechanic but should be introduced much earlier for players to know you’re not repeating the same level over and over otherwise. Good luck. Like other reviewers have said the game feels like your weapons have no power it’s so slow and boring and every battle is the same.
