I’ve been doing some research on AR fashion apps, and I’ve found that there are very few virtual fitting room applications like this on the market. Considering how new AR technology is, and how difficult it probably is to accurately project entire outfits onto a real-life photo, this app has honestly blown me away! I’m surprised it’s not more well-known! PROS: - Garments auto-fit well on any body type. - Projected items will wrap to your body’s positioning + occluding objects (example: if your hands are in the way, it won’t cover them). - You can use a fully-clothed pic of yourself, and still try on tank tops/shorts—the app will auto-cover the rest of your body with your skin-tone. - Wide selection of nice clothes to try on. - At least 90% of the clothes I’ve tried on appear realistic. - You can search for & save wardrobe items you already own—meaning you can see how new items will look w/ your own clothes. CONS: - Can’t see how different sizes of a particular item might fit/drape on your body. - Doesn’t let you directly shop for the items—(i.e. if I wanted to buy a top I tried on, I’d have to jump off the app and manually google-search it) - Clothed are only projected onto a still photo, it’s not real-time video AR (Honestly this is a minor con in my opinion, bc the AR is still really well done!)

I have been a big fan of this platform for some time now. It’s both fun and functional, especially during the pandemic when people are less comfortable going to stores and trying on clothes. I really like the new features added to the last update, including the ability to customize and follow studios!
