Ford Charge Station Pro Setup

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the Ford Charge Station Pro app. Initially, I had the charger successfully connected to my Wi-Fi network, but every time I tried to link the Ford Charge Station Pro app with the FordPass app, both apps would crash. I contacted support for help, and they advised me to turn off the charger at the electrical panel and perform a reset. After doing that, my charge station became stuck in reset mode. I called support again, and they suggested the same reset steps, but now my Ford Charge Station Pro won’t reconnect to Wi-Fi. Support then told me I might need a separate Wi-Fi network for the app to function correctly. It’s incredibly disappointing that the app was working fine at first, but after following support’s guidance, the situation only worsened. Awful experience.

I can’t believe how much of a waste of money getting this thing installed thinking it’ll be like the Tesla charger, boy was I wrong. This think will not connect to you home network. I really wished I had read the reviews before getting it installed. Customer service could not help they say they’ll escalate the issue, but after reading the reviews now I know there’s no help. Ford you should honestly be ashamed for you to have all these bad reviews and do absolutely nothing to change that is sad. I really wished those who created and worked on this charger would taken more pride in the App and software, clearly yall don’t care. I want my money back honestly. This is my first EVER bad review in my life that’s how annoyed and upset I am. 90k truck and 1600 dollar charger should work flawlessly. The facts that yall don’t even respond to these reviews proves my point yall don’t care.

Purchased Ford lightning, truck is good. Nothing else is, integration between truck and ALL electronics and apps rates zero ! My Ford Pro Charger is a joke, won’t let me adjust amps off amp, won’t show charge rates on Ford Pass app, nothing they do or have is working. Ford mapping, awful and inaccurate, my Tesla stuff is flawless, Fords Blue oval/Electrify America system is unreliable and very expensive, have 4 chargers on site with one working and people waiting. I purchased a Tesla adapter and have gone 100 percent charging to Tesla superchargers, only use fords in emergency. All the bad PR on the lightning truck really isn’t about the truck, I’m happy with it. But everything else they have to go along to support the truck has failed. I have 2 Tesla cars and the entire system is fabulous, I just couldn’t afford a Tesla truck. Get your act together ford !!!
