Footage: Private Video Journal

I like this app. I love to make little episodes with my toys, and it’s been really useful. I would’ve given it 5 stars, but Everytime I pause and and continue recording, there’s a weird sound when I play the recorded video. Other than that, it’s pretty much perfect.

Updated: developer reached out and advised “The recording pauses automatically every time you release the record button, thus creating one continuous video that you can always preview by tapping on any of the clips”. However my experience is each time you release the record button, the clip recording actually stops, you can choose which recording you want to view, which is the same as using your iPhone to capture videos. It does not actually pause the video (ie momentary rest) where you can continue recording within the same video. Original: The app is called “pause video” however, there is not a pause option while recording. Either one or two things 1) the app is improperly named. 2) The functionality is conceptionally flawed If you’re looking for a app that actually “pauses” while recording a video this is not it, keep searching

I’ve always wished I could have a stories app without the social media. This is perfect. I love being able to capture my day as a story and looking back it. App is pretty straight forward and fun to use.
