First Strike - Nuclear RTS

This is a very well made game, although I would consider it more than such. It is a lesson on how far we’ve come and how far back we could go. We create the means not only for construction and giving life, but also destruction and taking it. In our desperate search for more power, we will inevitably end up losing it. It isn’t even our search. It’s theirs. Presidents. Dictators. Emperors. They gain dominion over more land. They place more people under their thumb. What does the populous receive? Nothing. In our leaders looking to the outside, those already inside are forgotten. The only ones who truly care about us are the enemies. Those who see us as threats. We give our power, our wills, our land all to leaders who give none of it back. Those who rule the world are not the most intelligent, strongest, or most experienced. They are the lesser of two evils. The best tasting poison. Those who will stop keep things just good enough for us not to lose our sanity. Political parties, rival nations, mortal threats, they just hold us back from our true potential. Only in a world with no divisions, equal representation, and the cream of the crop as our ambassador to the stars can we prosper as the dominant species in the cosmos. Sorry, I got on a bit of a tangent there. Great game though.

Overall, this game is so much fun! I’ve always enjoyed the concept and interesting idea of a nuclear war game and I have been given a good candidate right here! I’ve played First Strike for quite a while, a few years, and remember the old game. Even though the game is a bit repetitive, it never gets old for me and I still enjoy playing against the AI once in a while on hardcore mode. My only big issue is the pay wall. Going back to old version of the game, everything was completely free and you could be any nation with any super weapon. Now, you have access to very few free nations and super weapons and if you really want to get into the game, you must pay money to enjoy other perspectives. Because I’ve always enjoyed the game and concept I did buy Russia and China, but even then, just to buy 1 nation, it cost 5 bucks. That’s not a lot, I know, but just for one territory, it’s kind of expensive. And the other thing is the monthly subscription. Boy oh boy, I hate the idea of a monthly subscription. If it was just one consecutive purchase for access to all of the nations and super weapons, I would most likely buy it. Instead of a monthly subscription, make a one time purchase that gives you everything without the need for a subscription. If you had that, I would happily pay 15 or maybe even 20 for access to everything. It makes everything more easier to just do a “one and done” purchase. Other than that, overall the game is a fun and exciting game that I still enjoy and have a place for in my heart, but that paywall just really disappoints me. I wish that the game was just kept free and there would be no paywall at all. But I get that money must be made to continue updating the game. Although, the idea of a one time payment would be a much better idea than the subscription. That’s all from me, thanks.

Evening Blindfug, I’m going to be straight forward, you need to go about a smarter way with this. Why do I care you ask? Because is an extraordinary and unique game! As a consumer I have come up with a way to satisfy both consumers, and producers. Here’s my plan: 1). Remove all in-game-purchases along with a big and exiting update, and get Apple Arcade to show it off for a good advertising strategy. In result you will get thousands of more people to play this game and perhaps others made by your company. 2). Produce merchandise that attracts your many fans (consumers) and make your money to make new and improved First Strike. The more the consumers enjoy the game the more they will support and buy from your company. 3). Repeat. Use the earned profits to make new updates alongside with Apple Arcade supporting you. Apple is a big asset for this plan considering how big they are. This benefits them to so don’t worry about them declining your offer. Use the earned profits to finish and refine the game to its peak and create more attractive merchandise. 4). Be patient and wait for the enjoyment of your fans and your money rolling in. Note: use popular social medias to advertise too. That’s were people spend most of their lives :D. (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit) I think this will benefit everyone.
