Filterra- Filters for Pictures

This app I have had great experiences with. It is an amazing editor. It all started with one day I was looking for i great editor for photos and to be able to post them, and I did! I found three amazing one but the best one was Filterra!!!!! I have been using it for about three weeks and realized you can takes photos using potrit mode that’s on the iPhone 10!!!! I would really recommend using the amazing and great free app, Filterra!!!💙 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Not sure why Apple is allowing apps that do this kind of thing in the App Store since the Trials policy was instituted, but this app runs a First-Run “wizard” that shows three cards, the first one describing the app with a Next button, then a second describing that filters are available for In App Purchase with a Next button, and finally a card that details the Trial Subscription info with a Start button. The card does NOT inform the user that the action to take if you DO NOT want to start a subscription is to tap a barely-there X in the upper-left corner. The use of the word “Start” is ambiguous to the point of scammy: it can just as obviously mean “Start (using the app)” as “Start (a subscription)” that it does. Unwary users WILL get trapped (do, dealt with a client having to unsubscribe just this morning). “Subscribe” and “No thanks” would be preferable buttons. (And IMHO should be required by Apple for app behavior such as this.) The developer is obviously aware how sketchy this is because when in the case the user does figure out to tap the X, the dev pops another dialog with additional verbiage saying it “is a special offer” and finally a “Thanks, I’ll pass” button. This behavior is the EXACT kind of near-fraudulent thing devs asking for a trial mechanism in the App Store from Apple warned would occur as a result of how Apple engineered Trials. Apple had indicated, in an attempt to placate that criticism, that they wouldn’t allow such practices. Obviously Apple is allowing it, because here it is. Bad on Apple for approving this app; bad on Filterra Inc for going there. I’d give this dev ZERO stars for scummy behavior if it were possible.

At first, I was excited! But then, I started to use the features and there are barley any that don’t cost money. If you are planning to spend a lot of money on this app, then I highly suggest it. Most of the features look like they could be really fun to use and there are sure a ton of them. But If you don’t plan on spending a ton of money on a photo editing app when there are millions of free ones out there. Note to the creators: please add more FREE features to the app and add some sort of way to get features without paying money (ex. A feature I could get by watching adds). Also, less ads! Edit: Hello, developer! My complaint is not that you don’t have any features for free, it was that you had BARELY any features for free. My suggestion would be that you could have us watch an add to get a pack to help photo edit. Also, thank you but I have found a free app that has lots of features and is nice and easy to use.
