I’m a parent leaving this review. Choose something else! The app seemed like it would be a good fit for helping drive digital life accountability for our family, so we tried it out. From the beginning, it did not work as advertised. It locked down apps that it was not supposed to, and it could not be undone. The customer support team tried to help, and got research and development staff eventually to try to figure out the issue, but after eight full days of them trying to understand and fix the issue, it became obvious that there was not going to be any progress made or fix identified. All along the process, I asked customer support for clear timelines and visibility to when and how the issue would be fixed, because it had completely debilitated the phone. For many many days, their answers were vague and often irrelevant, and never actually answered my questions. I’m sad to report that their customer service team was incapable of providing a good customer experience, and their own engineering and research and development teams were unable to fix a critical problem, nor even identify HOW to fix a critical problem in their software in over a weeks time. I canceled my account and got a full refund. Let this serve a warning to anyone considering this app: the software is buggy, there does not seem to be progress on debugging the software to make it work correctly, and the customer service is terrible.

i am literally about to be 16 years old and my parents have a need to have this app? at this point it’s completely wrong to be looking over your teens shoulder who will be out of the house soon. this doesn’t make a kid teen or a kid trust their parent with anything. They can see my texts and pictures which i do not accept. i am paranoid about everything i do on my phone. at this point don’t even give a teenager a phone if you’re just going to have this app.. and the fact this app goes up all the way to the age of 18 is insane, by the time a kid hits at least the age 12-13 their parents should no longer be able to even be using this app on their phone and the fact they have my exact location and they go crazy whenever it says i’m somewhere else. and the some of the words that trigger the app is completely out of pocket..MOST of the words aren’t even bad to say yet it still alerts the app. boundaries and trust between teens and their parents are bound to be broken with this app.

I am an almost 12 year old girl writing this review. This is so depressing. It’s sad honestly. I am a human being and I deserve privacy! This is violating everything! Parents, how would you like it if I went through all your messages and pictures and anything you do on your phone, and got to access it from mine? Am I some kind of animal in a zoo?!! Do you not trust me?! Am I bad kid?!? Now, the only privacy I have is pen and paper, and who knows you’re probably looking through that too. If you are a parent looking to download this for your kid, I hope you’re happy you are violating all of your trust you’ve built up with your kid. Now your kid has extreme trust issues, and they’ll never look at you the same again. :) like me. Human beings deserve the basic right to not think there’s someone watching you over your shoulder all the time. Creepy? And as you access all of your kids private stuff with a smile, just think about how your kid is feeling. Don’t even give the kid a phone at that point! Coming from a kid like me, please just don’t! Do you value your child’s mental well-being?
