FacePlus - Face Effects

I've been using the FacePlus app for a while now, and it's undeniably a fantastic tool for editing and enhancing photos. The user-friendly interface and a wide range of features make it a go-to choice for many. However, there's room for improvement. My main concern with FacePlus is its limited options for people of color. It appears that the app predominantly caters to creating images of white individuals, which leaves users with less diverse options. It's essential for any photo-editing app to represent all skin tones and ethnic backgrounds equally. I would love to see FacePlus expand its variety of features and filters that are inclusive of different races and ethnicities. Providing a broader range of customization options for all users would make this app even more appealing and welcoming to a diverse user base. In conclusion, FacePlus is a great app with tons of potential, but enhancing its inclusivity and offering a broader spectrum of choices for all users would undoubtedly make it even better.

This app has been fun to play around with, and some of the results have been really incredible. My friend sent me a selfie of her to use, and I was about to tell her to send me one without glasses because I didn’t think it would work using a picture with them on. But it worked SO well with the glasses on, it kept them in every frame, like the character in the clip had been the one wearing them! Unfortunately, there are a very limited number of videos to choose from. I’ve had this app for 24 hours and I’ve already run out of clips to play around with (no wonder they don’t offer a free trial 😂). Overall, if you’re a white woman, this app is a lot of fun. If you’re a white male, there are a handful of clips for you to use. If you’re any ethnicity besides Caucasian, there’s pretty much NO point in you getting this app. I used a picture of Kerry Washington on a ‘Mean Girls’ clip to see what happened, and she looked like something out of ‘White Chicks’. I almost rated this app 3 stars because of the lack of diversity in the clips available, but it was a lot of fun to play around with (as a white woman), so I gave it 4. Please do better when it comes to diversity, FacePlus!

This is fun, when it works. I have a new an up-to-date iPhone so that is not the problem. Every time I open the app it says I have to pay. When I try to pay, in spite of the fact that I already have, it says that I already have an account. I have to “restore purchase“ to get it to work again. every time. If I make a video, it will not save. I got one to save once. Otherwise no dice. It’s a lovely idea but it doesn’t work very well and there are only so many options. Also it doesn’t change the face shape in video i’m hoping future upgrades will make it work better
