Epic Apes: MMO Survival

This game is definitely entertaining, with fluid combat, easy to follow building instructions, and somewhat handholding with what to do and where to go. My biggest gripe would be the basically forced PVP in the zones past 25. Call me soft or casual, but that’s what I like. Building, gathering, fighting NPCs without being steamrolled by whales. I really hope there are planned new zones that are PVE for the higher levels. I wouldn’t mind investing a bit, but being camped by a player, while they steal all of my loot and gear, is really off putting and makes me stop playing. I totally understand going up against tough NPCs, not being prepared and dying, possibly losing everything because of my mistakes. But trying to fight said NPCs then being taken out by a player and losing everything is not my style. Maybe later on with new zones I’ll play again.

This game is not terribly punishing like others in the genre, the gameplay is fun, graphics and concept are enjoyable, so far I can definitely recommend just played it for hours on accident and have yet to hit any paywall. Seems to be pay for convenience (and probably PvP) and not necessarily needed to progress like other games in this genre.
