This app’s data tracking is an absolute invasion of privacy. It collects location, contact info, identifiers, usage data, and diagnostics, not just for its own use, but to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. The fact that it links all this personal information directly to your identity is outrageous. For an app tied to a chain of barbecue restaurants, there’s no justification for such extensive data harvesting. Brookside Enterprises, LLC clearly prioritizes profit over user trust, and the vague “privacy practices may vary” excuse only adds to the concern. I love Edley’s BBQ restaurants, the food is fantastic, but the app’s data practices are horrible. If you value your privacy, steer clear of this app. Avoid at all costs.
