Overall I enjoy this app. I paid for the premium so I can take a picture of my meal & it’ll input it automatically. I love that feature. One of my grievances which is why I gave it 4 stars vs 5 is, I tried to set up my meal plan with one of the options they offer, they give you the choice to put in diet restrictions which I thought was cool. After filling out my restrictions. they generated my plan. The problem came in when they gave me options with ham & shrimp when I put in that I don’t eat pork or shellfish. I also don’t like that you aren’t able to adjust your calories for certain meals. Like they have 0/620 calories during lunch, but that’s when I usually eat the least amount of calories if I eat lunch at all. I’d like to be able to customize it myself. I love the feature to track your water intake as well, but I wish I could have the option to do it in oz, not just ml. The design has great potential. If it were more user friendly (fixing the issues above) it’d be the best! If those few things aren’t an issue for you, I recommend downloading. It helps to keep me accountable which is much needed!
I never write reviews, but this app deserves one. This app is literally almost everything I could ever ask for. It makes it so easy to track calories and maintain a deficit. There is only one thing I’ve wished was different: in the app there’s an option to add your food - like if you use a certain brand of something you can save it so it’s easier and quicker to select. It would be an awesome addition if you could combine all of your saved ingredients. Like say I made a smoothie, it’d be nice to group together my fruit, milk and protein powder, that way I can just select my saved smoothie. Other than that- literally amazing. I use it every day and I look forward to inputting my activity and meals, and see how the food I’m eating is actually affecting my body!! It’s also very nice that most features are available without buying the pro option. Super accessible and I LOVE IT. Also want to say that I love how responsive the developers are to reviews. I see some who asked for the water tracking, meal planning or dark mode not even a year ago - and now all of these functions are included in the app.
I rarely leave app reviews and I rarely think it’s worth to purchase an app but this is a wonderful investment. Immediately impressed with what’s included and as someone who is just getting started on the fitness journey, it takes a lot of weight off (no pun intended..) to have the personalized meal plans -actually seem good too. Lastly, as a woman, the ‘her mode’ is amazing and extremely appreciated! Definitely going to be my go-to app!
