Maybe I’m just bad at this style of game… But I recently downloaded it, and I’ve been struggling to get through Level 68. I’ve gone through 20+ hearts and still haven’t figured out a way to beat it without just plain luck. That wouldn’t be as much of an issue if the power ups didn’t feel impossibly hard to attain (unless you buy them). It feels like the level is only solvable one way, even then you need to have the foresight to know all the blocks that are going to be dropped. There’s no mechanic for knowing the next block, there’s no mechanic for if you need a little help/guidance (without paying money). Likewise, some of the mechanics for the wooden blocks (you have to break a block near it to start tearing down the block) mean that if two colors match at the same time, only one of the panels will come off which just feels a bit broken (Istg this makes sense in my head but lmk if you don’t know what I mean). Alas, I end up frustrated and lost because I always run out of moves (and there’s no mechanic for partial credit) and then I have to wait for more hearts just to be disheartened again. The game has potential though, it just needs a lot of work
I really like this game. The concept and game play is really good. There’s a few small tweaks I would like to suggest. I’m only at level 109 but the gameplay recently has gotten nearly impossible. It feels like it went from very easy levels to levels that you NEED powerups to beat, and honestly, with the way a lot of them are structured, the power ups available aren’t helpful enough to be worth watching ads for, unfortunately. So I think maybe they should be adjusted a bit. Secondly, and this is pretty specific, but I wish you could see the next piece that’s coming up after the one you’re about to place. I think it would increase the strategy of the game by a lot and it’s a feature I think about often. A feature that I really like - the life system doesn’t take too long to replenish, so after you run out, you can get back on in less than an hour and play some more. I also think the coins are good too, because you get coins fairly often and you can use them to buy more lives. It doesn’t feel like too much of a money gouge. Overall, very good game!!!! I hope you take this advice into consideration, because I would like to keep playing, but if the levels continue to be this impossible I may stop soon.
I never write reviews but I’m honestly so impressed with this game. I’ve gotten up to level 45 & the gameplay is still challenging, they add enough new obstacles that it isn’t repetitive. The ads aren’t too excessive either— which is refreshing compared to other games. I also love the element of being able to collect/paint figurines… but I’ve maxed out to the last one you can collect! Please add more soon :)
