Queens Master: Sudoku Puzzle

The game concept seems fun, I was only about 10 levels in before needing to call it quits so not sure how it gets more difficult because it was very easy. The problem with this game though is the ads, this game has unskippable, full minute long ads, every couple minutes or so. And I don’t mean optional ads to increase your rewards, I mean full length unwanted ads that come for no reason. A lot of mobile games have optional full length ads, and unskippable ad pop ups every once in a while that can be skipped right away or in 5 seconds. This is the first game I ever played that had unskippable, full length (minute long or more) ads that MUST be seen every couple minutes. I downloaded this game thinking it could be a good no WiFi, airplane game. Well guess what? The game doesn’t work without WiFi, so there truly is no way to bypass the ads. The only reason they require WiFi in this game isn’t because the game itself requires WiFi, but just so that ads can play. The WiFi is necessary for ads to play, and that’s the only reason WiFi is required to play the game. This is awful and incredibly greedy, the devs don’t care about their game, just squeezing every last dollar they possibly can.

This is a pretty good game! I’d give it a 5/5 :) It can obviously get repetitive but overall it makes you think and works your brain. Ads are obviously a part of every mobile game now but they’re all skip-able, some can be long but that’s about it. I would recommend this game to everyone to try! You can also watch ads to unlock previous challenges from earlier months by watching ads or paying for it. ***My only question/concern would be if you do pay for it, would you unlock every single month you’ve missed since downloading it? Or do you just unlock that month you are on when you buy it?***

I love the game Queens, so I downloaded this app. However, it’s full of ads, which makes up hard to play unless you buy adblock. Even when you buy adblock you STILL have to watch ads if you want to play past daily challenges, for every single one. And they’re not short ads either, their 45-60s ads per daily challenge. Besides that, the global leaderboard is also fake. I know this because I got to the #1 spot within a day and when I downloaded this app on another device, my original account was nowhere to be seen at the top (also all the names and scores of the other top players were completely different). This is a let down to competitive players and I would really appreciate an actual leaderboard with real players. Besides that, it’s still a fun game and I do appreciate the different skins and challenges, so I’d still say the app is worth downloading if you’re willing to either shill out $3.99 for no ads or to sit through an ad every 3 minutes.
