Dine On Campus

I live off campus but buy a package each term to help me grab meals on days when I have a long schedule and won’t have time to go home and cook. Being able to see the menus each day helps me decide if I want to go to the dining hall using a meal swipe on my card or instead go to one of the kiosks at the Student Union and use my flexible dining dollars there instead. Have been really happy with the food in both places and the healthy and tasty options. Big fan of the salad bar and all the meat and non meat options as well as gluten free and vegan and vegetarian plus the regular sandwiches, pizza, fried chicken tenders and burgers. The app works great, it displays campus dining facilities along with their hours. It also includes a few other nice features, however this is completely overshadowed by the complete buggy mess that this app really is. Nine times out of ten the app will not launch. After opening it will sit on the loading screen for 30-40 seconds, and then crash. Even once in the app, there is still a big chance it will end up crashing shortly after. Having to continually open an app 6-7 times just to see dining hours is really not worth it in my opinion.

Decent, very useful app if integrated well with the campus. It runs a little slow, but it works. I am writing this review to let the devs know about a bug. If the campus is doing reservations through this app, I had found that it wasn’t letting me reserve for dinner after about 5:15pm when the dining halls are open until 10:00pm (the button to click the eating session grays out and is unclickable). I just noticed that this was due to me having 24 hour time enabled on my iphone, and that when switching it off, it began working like normal. Hope this helps with ironing out the app!
