Hi there! I am a person who frequently try’s to find actual good merge games, and this one meets most of my criteria! So far I have only watched an ad once (I have played for about an hour) and it was of my own choice. I really enjoy that you can move around the furniture to your own accord and that there’s plenty of choices for furniture. I rarely ever find myself stuck or just waiting in the merge part which is a HUGE problem with most of these games. The inventory is really handy and useful and definitely keeps my board cleaner, I do have to say though that I think you could have maybe made the board slightly bigger or something as it does get a little bit overwhelming some times. I haven’t been really paying attention to the story and think there should be a setting or something to make it so you skip the story butttt whatever. Overall this is a pretty great time killer and I would totally recommend you try this game out! :) Thanks for reading my ridiculously long review, have a nice day🤣
I've been playing Designville for a while now, and I can definitely say that this is one of my favorite merge games! The advertisement shows very similarly to what the game actually is, which is super helpful, because some games when you want to play merge, they advertise it but when you purchase it, the game is nothing that is shown in the ads! This game is super fun, and cute graphics! Interior design and plotline is interesting too! There is not many ads in the game, which is nice, and clearly shows that the game has made some improvements. However, I feel like there should be more energy or gems because at some point you need to renew the objects or fix them. Just some suggestions, however I think it's definitely worth to try this game out! I've tried different merge games before, and this one has lasted without getting deleted much longer, so I definitely recommend!
I absolutely love the interior design aspect but the merge portion of the game is a mess. I don’t mind spending money on a game I really enjoy; that being said, the fact that drop items break so that you have to spend a bunch of gems to fix them (or have to go through the whole process of merging to make a new one all over again) feels like a greedy cash grab by developers. We’re already stuck on a difficult task that takes several rounds to complete - unable to begin any new tasks or make any progress at all in the game until we do - and now we have to stop everything to focus on making a new faucet or sewing machine? Super frustrating. Don’t expect to enjoy this game unless you intend to spend real money all the time on gems. Because it will just keep happening. Right? As if that weren’t bad enough, you spend so much time merging to make items to spend on design items for the game, but the items are so expensive, even after clearing an entire board of tasks you might be able to afford one addition to the room. And then again, you might not. Although I love the design part, it’s so much work for very little reward and I’m not sure it’s worth it.
