I love this type of game, but this particular game has me concerned. First, whenever I play this game, my phone heats up, even after I close all other apps. As soon as I deleted it, my phone quickly cooled down. According to my cybersecurity training at work, that’s a sign that the app is using extra resources to mine crypto or run malware in the background. This is the main reason I deleted the game, because I have a new phone and there is no reason for a basic game like this to make my phone heat up so much. Second, there are way too many ads. Ads when you open the game, ads when you start a level, ads when finish a level, ads every minute during the level. It’s annoying and breaks my concentration. Third, there is a slight lag when you’re entering letters, like others have stated. This is also suspicious, because a simple game like this shouldn’t have a reason to have a noticeable lag like that. UPDATE This game looks like it’s made in China. I feel dumb for not checking that earlier. I have reported this app to Apple.
This game would be much more enjoyable if you didn’t have to over tap the screen to get a letter to show up. All the tapping just for a letter is very ridiculous. Fix it or I’ll delete it. The lag is so bad that it uses up my free taps and makes me watch a video to continue. Maybe that their plan but I won’t continue if it isn’t fixed.
It seems this app is another one just like others that show on the main download area that they’ll take very little of your information but then once you download it before you open it they say you have to agree to this before you can play it and guess what that’s where all the fine print is that says they’re going to collect a whole lot more information from your mobile device then they let on at the time of the download and I think that’s a very deceptive practice! Of course this company is from China so what do you think -that’s what they do hide the data that they’re really collecting on you.
