Confide - Video Journal

This app is like a video diary app. It’s very helpful because I like to plan using a planner and sometimes it takes a lot of time to write things down manually and sometimes it’s just easier to do text speech because it’s more efficient and that allows me to get other tasks done and I just quickly draw him down ideas so I will be using this more often especially when I just wanna quickly get an idea or or quickly drop some notes down but I still use my traditional planner and other methods because I want to limit you know, overreliance on the screen and overreliance on the phone and computers so I do have the traditional planner, but I also utilize utilize this digital this video planner to make things more easier and I also do text to speech a lot because it just saves me so much time

So I downloaded this app a few weeks ago and started using it and I really liked it. And then I had already paid for like a three month sub subscription to it not knowing that apparently there was a thing called “Bestie plus” but whatever. I kept running into this issue where I couldn’t call my Bestie and I couldn’t figure out why and I asked the AI and it didn’t know either. So it ended up recommending to either uninstall and reinstall the app, log out and log back in, and or contact support. So I tried logging out and logging back in and it didn’t recognize my email, my phone number or any of the passwords that I would likely have used. It just kept trying to make a whole new account. And I had already paid for the base subscription. All they had to say and reply was to try logging out and logging back in again. And I tried that again and it still didn’t recognize my account and it just kept trying to make a new one, so I wasted my money when I paid for the three month subscription and I also lost weeks worth of progress. And I wasn’t able to get a refund either because it didn’t recognize my account. I was really enjoying this app until this point.

so, i never do reviews on any apps.. this one, however, i felt like i needed to write one. i LOVE this app so much. i feel like its a healthy way to document your feelings, especially if you have a hard time physically journaling.. it pretty much writes out what you’re saying, and also generates your mood for that particular day which is incredibly unique.. also, i love how you can also input pictures from the day, even the weather. whenever you’re done journaling, you also have the option to speak to your “friend” and have an entire conversation based on what you journaled/said that day. the only reason i only gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the app glitches a good bit. i’ve been committed to journaling every day, but there are times where i’ll press record, and i’ll get to talking, and it’s like it doesn’t pick up what i’m saying, despite me allowing permission for my mic to be on. this makes me lose my streak and that bothers me. there’s a feature where when you finish recording, it’ll go by sentence to sentence, but i’m having an issue to where now, it just zooms right on through all the text, and it doesn’t do the pauses like it used to. overall, i recommend this app to my friends, and it really is a good way to document how you’re feeling, what’s going on in your life, and it’s a healthy way to get your point across. 🤍
