Combustion Inc makes the literal best products. High quality, reliable, straight forward, and every detail was thought through carefully. I find the meters are always connected when they should be, the temperature readings are always accurate, and the app works flawlessly. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve used all kinds of products in this space and they all have their faults. I can’t find a single fault for Combustion Inc.
I am a meat cooking nerd. I love the 8 temperature point reading and graphing feature of the Combustion Inc. thermometer. It takes keeping an eye on your grill to the next level! Knowing the ambient grill temp as well as the other temperature points throughout the item you are cooking is amazing! I have bought a couple more thermometers as gifts for my close friends and family that really appreciate precision cooking and the results!
I have used it only once so far, but I am deeply impressed by the quality of the app. In my experience, hardware like this gets crappy bottom of the barrel app support that barely does what it is supposed to and doesn't contain the deep levels of information I want it of them. This app cleanly and clearly shows all of the info you normally want out of the box and let's you dig in deep into a debugging display to get detailed sensor info. I haven't played much with the CSV export, but I expect it to be good as well.
