City Bank has always stood out for its reliability and customer-centric services, and the Citytouch app is a testament to that. It offers almost every essential feature one needs to manage finances conveniently and efficiently. However, while the app’s functionality is commendable, its user interface significantly holds it back from being a truly five-star experience. The overall design feels outdated and lacks the polish expected from a modern banking application. For instance, the loading animation appears rudimentary, the buttons feel disproportionate, and there is noticeable inconsistency in font style and alignment. The login page could also benefit from a cleaner, more streamlined layout. Additionally, small usability improvements—such as allowing users to copy their account number directly from the account page—would make a meaningful difference in user experience. To elevate the app further, I’d recommend a comprehensive UI/UX overhaul focusing on: • Modern design language: A flatter, more minimal aesthetic aligned with current design standards. • Consistent typography and spacing: Improves readability and visual harmony. • Improved button hierarchy: Ensures better visual balance and touch accessibility. • Refined transitions and micro-interactions: Subtle animations can make the experience feel smoother and more engaging. • Dark mode support: Many users appreciate the option for better visibility and battery efficiency. City Bank is doing a fantastic job in terms of innovation and digital service reliability. With a refreshed, modernized interface, Citytouch could easily stand out as one of the best banking apps in the country.
I like this app. Pretty simple, easy to use. But I believe this app will be better with notifications. When we send and receive any payments we don’t receive notifications. Also we don’t see endorsement amount in the app. I had to call service center for how much dollars I have left. These parts can be improved. FaceID and TouchID authentication would be a nice feature.
This app is a scam. I was trying to recharge my mobile, they showed connection error. Then I tried again and the same error was shown. Then I exited the app and few mins later I got 2 withdrawal text from the bank. The money was deducted from my account but I didn’t receive any money on my phone. It’s not the first time that it happened with me, it happened many times before. I never approached them for this little amount of money but they’re doing this dirty thing again and again. When the money got deducted and it showing in payment history then why I didn’t receive the money and why didn’t I get the confirmation email from the bank?
