I’ve been using the Chrysler app since I got my car. However, it needs features to update faster. My app keeps showing an error message that my car doesn’t have. I’ve been trying to clear it for months, but it’s still there. I took it to the dealership, but they said that my car doesn’t have the error. I need a faster response and a better view of the app. I also want to be able to customize and remove options. Uconnect was way better. Maybe they should add a SOS mode to the app, a faster location response, and seat cooling for the passenger and driver. They should also add steering heating and the ability to turn on the AC. Other car apps offer better options for less money. It need a lot of improvements!
Previously used Uconnect to determine when charging was done so I could go downstairs and plug in our other EV. Ucoonect did what I needed. When we forcedforced to switch to the Chrysler App, we didn’t see any data for our Pacifica Hybrid. I posted a review and was told to submit details and screen shots to an email address. I did make a report in May, 2024. I was then given instructions for resetting the connection dongle, not once but many times. I finally got a notification that the new app does not and will not support the Pacifica Hybrid. I pushed back and was given a phone contact to another group. They told me the hybrid would be supported in a future release. I received notification in November that the Pacifica hybrid was now supported. Kind of. Fuel level was reported, but not battery state of charge. Location and remote functions did not work. Since then everything thing EXCEPT battery SOC works. I got a call from Chrysler shortly before Christmas asking if all was working. No, still need Battery SOC. They said they would get back to me. Got a call on January 13 reporting that Battery SOC is not supported. Wow. Really Chrysler? It worked fine and supported a very useful function in the old app. This is a paid subscription, why not restore the functionality?Chrysler, you really do need to support your products.
A handful of months back I was forced to switch from the Uconnect app to this one. It was like Plug in Hybrid was a complete afterthought at the time. Later we were able to see some charging detail but it is not anywhere near what was there before. It is limited to showing the data available in a tiny box with a bar for the charged amount- it’s a complete guess to what is there- no % charged available, no estimated miles on charge available, etc. the app NEVER has updated my charging status to show me the remaining amount of time when plugged in. Why put a refresh button in when it never works? I have to walk out to the vehicle itself if I want to know how much time is left in my charging session. I miss being able to see the mileage driven in battery vs as a hybrid, etc. Bring back the features you had in Uconnect. Without these features Chrysler has lost me as a future customer and a current owner who had been recommending this vehicle to others. Your competitors are doing this better. We own a Ford and Kia that both have better charging information and give the features those that drive EVs or PHEVs want to see.
