Chef Friends: Cooking Game

We’ve all downloaded and given up on about a hundred “cooking and decor” games that end up being frustrating, right? Limited options, slow progress, not just pay to win but pay to play for more than five minutes at a time after the first few levels…this game is the exact opposite. You do NOT have to spend real money to progress, and the levels do not get impossible after a point. You will end up stuck and grinding for coins on hard levels sometimes, yes, but this is evenly paced with levels that go by faster and let you recover your inventory. The decoration aspect is actually varied and fun, the cooking mechanics are different and engaging every level, and the storyline from restaurant to restaurant is actually entertaining and fun to follow along as well. You have a LOT of options to collect items and currency by participating in events. This is really a game that is designed for you to enjoy it, not just to milk you for as much money as they can before you get fed up and leave.

I obsessively played this game for weeks and loved it. Each new restaurant started with easy levels, with only one or two items to cook and then gradually added new recipes, appliances, condiments, etc. The idea was to learn each new element as you progressed. However, a new update installed today and it completely changed a restaurant I was in the middle of advancing. All new appliances, recipes, condiments, etc. and it is beyond confusing. Everything changed and I am more than halfway thru, so everything is super complex to start with and now it’s impossible since everything is different. I only have five lives and I cannot start the entire restaurant over to relearn all the various elements. I am beyond frustrated and am angry they changed it like this without allowing us to start over and actually learn what to do. As is, I have burned thru so many lives and boosters and I can’t advance at all. My current level is so fast-paced and complex, and I just can’t keep up. 100% ruined the game. I am deleting it as the devs clearly just want me to spend money to try and bypass these now impossible levels. In response to the developer’s response - I submitted MULTIPLE tickets in game detailing the issues, only to be told they would “pass along my feedback.” What good is that since I was stuck on levels that were unplayable and unwinnable when you changed the entire restaurant as part of your update? I already deleted and got refunds since you cheated me with a bait and switch. DON’T CHANGE EXISTING RESTAURANTS WHEN YOU UPDATE THE GAME. I will never play another game from this developer.

This game is absolutely perfect! No ifs ands or buts. Whatever improvement they said they were gonna do, they did it. There’s literally 0 ads, unless you want to watch one to get extra coins. But instead of watching ads, you can go to the previous restaurants and do more levels to get coins. This game is literally the best! I was looking for diner dash, I think I found it but the reviews were bad, downloaded this and I’ve been playing for hours ad free. You want a restaurant game, this is what you’re looking for! Perfect!! I love it. A FREE game with no ads at all and you don’t need to purchase anything in order to play. No subscription or anything. You have the choice to pay for extra gems, but again, you could just go to previous restaurants you’ve done and get more gems by completing achievements. If you need to get an upgrade and don’t have enough coins, they’ll let you use the little bit of coins you have and some of the gems. You just gotta download it for yourself to try. The most free game with 0 ads. No popup ads, no ads on the bottom of the screen. I pray they don’t change this because this game is perfect as is and has so many restaurants you need to save
