Card Match Puzzle

I have been playing this for over a year now. Love the game, it’s relaxing. I see you’ve fixed some things, but I’ve just hit another snag. I finally passed 2 Billion. But every time I get the 2 million card merge, it doesn’t give me any additional stars??!!! I can’t pass 2.15 Billion no matter how many 2 million card merges I make!! I’ve made at least 20-30 merges and my score hasn’t changed AT ALL!! And who knows what will happen if I dare restart the game, will my high score go back to 1.22B ?? That glitch still comes back every once in a while. By reading other reviews I see people have the same problem with their high score not being saved. And where is the review I wrote a few months back?? It’s not there?!! Fix your glitches and I will gladly give you a 5 star rating.

I love this game and play it every day. I’m considering deleting it because there is a pointer that pops up on the screen if you take a second too long to move a card. It doesn’t just point a move out, it points, and points, and points…well, you get the picture. It doesn’t stop until you make a move and it’s totally nerve wracking. And the kicker is the pointer is usually not a good move to make in the long run. After following the pointer advice for several days I set my own strategy and I get much further along. If they removed this feature it would be a five star game and then I would recommend it to friends, but I won’t recommend it as it stands now.

Good game. Very good even. But it has an annoying, truly awful setup. Some really callous money grubbers, who don’t understand gaming and don’t care, have basically ruined a game that had a good concept. Gameplay is interrupted every few moves for an ad. And that is in addition to the ad bars that run on the bottom full time. And in transition moments between levels, where you are supposedly getting a choice, to either move on without an ad, or to view an ad to get a perk, both choices end up in you having to watch an ad regardless. Having no choice is not a real choice. And the ads also don’t release you back to the game easily or consistently. And the ads make the game run glitchy. And when the game offers a suggestion, which it will do if you haven’t moved within a couple seconds, it does it repeatedly until you make a move. And the game is chock full of a variety of other distracting promotions, all crowding the interface, trying to get you to watch more ads for perks, none of which are explained anywhere, and all which are of no real interest or real relevance to the gameplay. If this game had a no-ad option, and if it presented its gameplay suggestions only every minute or two, it could be top tier. But it isn’t that. What good is a game for relaxation whose ads are unrelenting and which interrupts your gameplay every few moves, or even every few seconds? What good is a game for strategy that treats you like you are stupid, and which won’t allow you any reasonable time to think without getting in your face? What good is a game that shows an astoundingly insulting level of disregard for its players? Not much. So the best it gets is two stars.
