Past crappy reviews seem to have been resolved. Glad to be provided up to date news.
I signed up for a digital access subscription to the Canon City Daily Record newspaper so that I could access it on my smart phone. The link at the Daily Record sent me to Wordplus site to sign up. It showed everything went through and that I have an active subscription. I received a confirmation email. I've been charged $6.00 every single month for the Canon City Daily Record but can't access it. I installed the app on my iPhone and tried to open it but every time I click on an article it blocks me and a message pops up that tells me to sign in if I have an account or to purchase a subscription. I try to sign in but it then says I don't have a subscription to the Canon City Daily Record. Funny since I have an email showing I have a subscription and the $6.00 gets taken out of my account automatically every month. I've tried everything to get this fixed. I've deleted and reinstalled the app. I've sent the Daily Record and Wordplus two messages each asking for this to be fixed and have not received any response from either of them. I've been ripped off! I am requesting a refund. I've sent four messages total informing them of the issue I am having and telling them I'm being charged for something I can't access. I do not recommend this app.
Mobile version is all you can get on a phone, even when you click full site. When viewing through safari on your phone the ads are so big no matter how many times I try to click out it takes me to the ad instead. You are forced to download the app which is so unfriendly to use its a joke. Still with the ads, not place for contact either!!! Hence why I'm writing this review instead!
