cambio CarSharing

The cambio car sharing service is very good, but I can’t make reservations using the app. It closes every time I select an available car. Edit: newer versions of the app had the issue fixed, and I can use it again. The app could use some nicer UI, but it’s already quite handy.

Diese App erfüllt ihren Zweck, ist zuverlässig und beides gehen Bedienungsfreundlich. Sätze empfehlen. Das cambio Konzept und die Umsetzung sind in meinen Augen tadellos.

Just had a horrible first experience with Cambio. While the concept is great and car worked really well, I had a heck of a time getting setting the time (you’ve got to pull up the screen to change the reservation time - not at all obvious). And then at the return I couldn’t figure out how the key locks into the handheld device - hint: the fob portion in the key ring slips in the back holder). Btw - the QR codes to watch informational videos were bad. Ugh. Also, I couldn’t lock the door. Apparently, there is supposed to be a LOCK CAR option with the reservation. It’s on the app’s German version, but not on the English. I had to call cambio and have them lock it remotely. A very bad experience. Am fearful of using cambio again. Let’s see how it goes for this American in Germany tomorrow.
