Bob Books Reading Sight Words

Please correct spoken/audible “R” sound to “rrrrrrr”. Also do not replace with “ruh” as this is also incorrect. R sound is simply “rrrr”. We do not say — er-obot; we say robot We do not say — er-ain; we say rain We do not say — er-un; we say run We do not say — er-at; we say rat We do not say — er-at; we say rat We do not say — t-er-ee; we say tree We do not say — er-aft; we say raft We do not say — er-ead; we say read Please introduce young minds to accurate sounds, as although it may seem like a nominal distinction, it is wrong (and confusing and frustrating for learners)… or should I say… Please intERoduce young minds to accuERate sounds, as it is wERong (and confusing foER leaERneERs)… See my point? It is only when R’s are met with vowels that we hear “er” sounds forming.

We recently purchased this app for our upcoming trips. I try to download games and movies to keep my granddaughter busy on long plane rides and wanted an educational app. She is just starting to learn to read and has the Bob Books reading sets - this app is perfect for her! It kept her busy during the plane ride and I was so proud of her when she was able to create words! I'd highly recommend this app to anyone looking for an app for a child learning to read!

This app has great Bob Books stories and illustrations, and even more ways to play than the first two apps. It adds a really nice tracing feature, drag-and-drop letters and words, and a fun letter spinner. Nicely done. Plus you can get this as part of a bundle and save a couple of bucks. Love that.
