I had an issue with an update, where the app stopped working for me. The devs read the reviews, gave helpful responses AND fixed the issue. The app itself has always been great - lets me see info at a glance, do all the banking I need to and has a good flow.
My mom likes the TD app because it can be configured to show in Chinese. After switching to BMO she can’t use online banking anymore.
There is a step when designing an app’s user experience where you hand the app to somebody who has never used it, and tell them: “try to do X.” And if they have trouble, you make it easier. The designers of this application skipped that step. So if you want to change the way it does two-factor authentication, you need to configure how it sends you Alerts. That might be obvious to the developer who wrote it, but it’s hard to be intuitive for an end-user.
