Title: S650-XT Has a Serious Shutdown Issue I really like the sound quality and noise cancellation of the BlueParrott S650-XT, but there is a serious problem that needs to be fixed. This is my SECOND S650-XT with the same issue. When I am listening to audio or using an app and an incoming phone call comes through, the headset can completely shut itself off. There is no “Power Off” announcement—it just dies. After that, the power button will not turn it back on. I have to plug the headset into a charger before it will turn on again, even when the battery still has plenty of charge. I have updated to firmware 1.21, factory-reset the headset, forgotten and re-paired it with my iPhone, and the problem still happens. After researching this, I found other S650-XT owners describing the SAME shutdown problem, including having to connect the charger before the headset will turn back on. For a premium headset designed for professional drivers and phone calls, this should not be happening. BlueParrott needs to investigate and fix this issue.

Update: while the app is buggy as described, I was eventually able to update my headset and the update has improved the headset’s stability. I would still like to see an easier updating process moving forward. Thankfully, the developer did contact me in order to resolve the issue. Original post: This app is about as worthless as the iPhone variant! Trying to update my Blue Parrott S650xt stays stuck at 4% no matter what I do, just like it does on the iPhone. We pay hundreds of dollars for these headsets, the least they can do is make an app that does what it’s supposed to do and updates the headset with little to no fuss! C’mon Blue Parrott. This should be fixed by now!

This headset is by far superior to every other one I have used for driving a truck! The noise cancellation along with the micro phone/ear speaker clarity is so good! Thank you for helping e stay connected to my loved ones Blue Parrott! Not to mention the 70 dollar discount I got just by calling and asking about deals! Y’all’s customer service is awesome and so easy/understanding to work with! Again thank y’all for the Blue Parrott experience!
