…since the “update to 3.1.3,” I can’t open this game. I’ll keep trying and update my review if things improve. 4 days later and lots of negative reviews, nothing has changed. PopCap has really ruined a good thing. 2 weeks later: 3.1.2 is on my iPhone and opens just fine. 3.1.3 on my iPad still doesn’t open. The circle almost closes, and doesn’t. I see other reviewers having the same issues and wonder if this will be resolved. About 3 weeks now: I actually opened the game a couple of nights ago but, the success was short lived. It only opened that once and now we’re back to the same issue. The circle that goes around the PopCap logo doesn’t quite make it all the way around. The game doesn’t launch. I opened a “case” with EA, but honestly, the “techies” there are useless and I don’t think they understand when I explain the issue. Does anyone read these reviews? Today’s update: if I turn off my WiFi, I can launch this game. So, I go to cellular, launch the game, then turn the WiFi back on. Why is that? New issue: “Poker” will not open. Other games will open, but all I get is a blank green screen on the poker game. And, yet another issue update: AGAIN, THE POKER GAME STOPPED WORKING. ALL THE OTHER GAMES WORK FINE BUT POKER IS JUST A BLANK GREEN SCREEN. Emailing the developer is not working. Sure hope someone reads this.
Bejeweled has been with me for a while. My dad had an iPad (that I still have lol) that he gave to me to win him a game. He didn’t actually need help. He was just like my mom, on level 300+ but not on candy crush saga. Couple years later, we just stopped. He deleted the app, (he wanted to delete it, he just got a bit bored and unchallenged) lost all his progress, and passed the iPad to me because he got a MacBook. I reinstalled the app on my phone two weeks ago. Still as I remember, but a bit harder. Zen is my favorite mode. It’s amazing how you can just calm down and match with those soothing noises when the gems clad together or you get a supernova gem. I love Bejeweled, but I wish it wouldn’t crash. The more I use the app, whenever I go into any mode, (Zen, ice storm, diamond mining, ect.) everything freezes. It’s weird, but it’s not too often. Other than that, I’m obsessed. Barely any ads, it’s calming with sound effects (THAT YOU CAN TURN OFF), and so much more. It can be thrilling when your timed, but soothing when you have anxiety. I would rate it 5/5 stars, but for me I don’t like the ever-so-often freezes. Thanks for reading !
It the first game I learned how to played on my first computer and what got me started was a vacation my family and I took one summer and this friend we were visiting taught me the very basics and then she said do you enjoy this game well yes I do. She said I’ll leave the computer on for to practice on and don’t forget if it asks you for a name type your name okay? Okay and that day I played and played and played. Then I started seeing patterns for myself Like super balls are formed with 3 or more. With 4 or more stronger balls are formed they make bigger explosions and so I started beating some of her scores and then this competition continued for couple of years and she started buying higher levels games and I couldn’t afford that but that’s okay. I still remembered how good winning made me feel that summer cause when I lost my job and couldn’t shop at the expensive malls any more I learned quickly that yard sales would often carry not the latest but atleast more advanced than mine and I would go from sale to sale and I would go up to the person handling the cash and I would ask them if they had any games for PC computers for sale and I finally became known as the game lady. Which was cool now I didn’t have to search them out they were searching for me. And so now that I had a stroke and lost a lot of my own level of playing I stated playing on my smart phones and I took the time to read the playing instructions and all the stuff I had know was right there for me how magical was that!!!
