This app is junk I hope you did not waste your money and already purchased Bali blinds and paid extra for automation. If you are considering it run,run fast. Find a different company Find a company not related to this company. Good luck I think they are all the same. As you can see the app hasn’t been updated in over a year The company knows the issue exist yet still do nothing to fix the problem They claim it is only with iOS and not other phones. Lame excuses The remote that you have to pay extra for also doesn’t work. I have had to replace it twice. To use the remote you have to take the batteries out before you use it All in all this company is horrible. Horrible to work with wait times on the phone are long The app will not connect to the gateway If you try to change your routines on the app it doesn’t update your system. To reconnect you have to reset every blind you also have to have access to the blind so if they are high above you you need a long ladder to access each blind connected. If you can get the blind to reset and connect without issues it will be a miracle. You need to hold until they flash a certain color for a certain amount. Of blinks push it again touch the this the that and the other A complete pain in the rear I can’t wait to sell my house so I don’t have to deal with these blinds or this company again Fix the app. Fix the remote. Fix the connection fix your entire system If you haven’t bought your blinds yet run! If you have I am sorry for your frustration

I hope that you read this before you purchase their motorized blinds. Don’t do it! First when I open the app if I’m lucky the program blinds will be there in the queue. They just disappear and reappear, could be a minute could be an hour. Next problem is the constant “time zone” update which doesn’t even let you put in your time zone. It only has east coast. Also, if you are trying to close the app in hopes that things will work right you, ha! Jokes on you. You will constantly get the time zone update. Which takes a few minutes to cycle. It’s alway a fun guessing game - will I be able to open my blinds? I don’t have functioning blinds, the whole point of blinds is to be able to open and close the blinds. I wish I could return their crap, and get my $10k back. Spend the extra and go with someone else. The frustration is not worth it especially for the cost.

This app along with this gateway is quite possibly the single worst piece of gear on my entire home automation set up. It’s extremely unstable. I have to reset the gateway every time I do a restart on my network. That means if there’s any power outage in my house, the shades fail to work once the power is restored. Furthermore, I get no help from Spring Window Fashions when I call to talk about the deficiencies in the app. My Google Home has an easier time talking to my shades than the app does. For instance, my Google app knows when the shades are up or down, but the Bali app does not recognize it. I have no clue who designed this app, but do everybody a favor and get a new job for them…. like picking up trash on the side of the highway. Give me a third grader with an iPad and they could design a better app than what you were trying to pass off on the consumer.
