Suggested improvement: 1. Allow biometric logins 2. QR scanner is not upto the mark. Takes longer to scan and many times is unable to scan. Comparing it with the scanner of Axis Open App 3. Allow loading the wallet from more sources - CC, DC, Meal cards etc.
I’ve been using the Axis Digital Rupee app for a while now, and it’s frustrating that such a basic and essential feature — viewing your wallet’s VPA (Virtual Payment Address) — is completely missing. There is no way to view, copy, or manage your VPA inside the app. If you’re trying to link your wallet somewhere else or even receive payments properly, you’re stuck. This defeats the purpose of interoperability and convenience, which CBDC aims to promote. Even worse, the app doesn’t show your wallet address anywhere, not under profile, settings, or the “Receive” section. Users are forced to reverse-engineer their own VPA using QR links, which is inefficient and confusing — especially with long, system-generated VPAs. Until this is fixed, I can’t recommend this app. Please update the app to show the wallet VPA and allow VPA customization, like every other UPI or CBDC wallet does.
