Audio Memos SE: Voice Notes

When this app was updated a month ago, it took away the app pic on my Home Screen. When I went to go find it, it is just a black square box with nothing on it. It used to have a green microphone?

Simple and easy to use.

Short version: You can’t transfer audio files larger than 500kb out of the app unless you buy the pro version. There are several problems with the UI. If you try to transfer a memo larger than 500kb... you just can’t. Unless you pay for the pro version, seemingly. But given how terrible the free version is, I’m not going to chance it. If you try to email a memo, you get a message telling you to change your email settings to allow sending a memo larger than 500kb. But there is no such setting. When I tried to send via Messages, the UI just completely fails. Adding a new recipient results in a blank row in the UI and it’s not clear how to proceed from there. It’s just astonishing that it could be so hard to transfer a file. I literally might have to play the recording from my ipad into the mic of a separate device in order to transfer the file. This after a half hour searching the web for solutions — I really tried. Totally ridiculous.
