QuickVoice® Recorder

I’m posting this hoping the developer sees this. I tried to contact through the website, and it goes to a page saying the website is for sale when you submit the form. (Although oddly it’s a different website address with a dash). Previous rating was 5 stars. I’ve used this since probably since 2012. Easy for a quick recording and does well recording voice, choir, and pipe organ performances. Can choose high quality setting and email to self easily. PROBLEM: suddenly in the last couple months, it deleted all of my recordings going back 8 YEARS!!! OMG. ALL GONE. 😭 — and it seems the software is deleting my files every single night. — this is why I tried to contact the developer to see if there’s a setting I need to change which I couldn’t find in my iPhone/QuickVoice settings. Sadly, I think I’m going to have to find a new recorder. But honestly it might be for the best since there was no sorting feature in this and it would organize it haphazardly not even in chronological order. Bummed. Ps. I have iPhone 10 with updated software. And it worked great on my iPhone 6.

Reading previous reviews and I can see I’m not the only with this issue and I will be reaching out to apple for a refund for paying for the iCloud feature Idc if it’s been over a year, it clearly doesn’t work and there’s no one to get in contact with. Last app update 7 months ago. I’ve had the QuickVoice app on my iphone for years. I have the iCloud feature turned on in Settings in the app. In my iCloud settings the QuickVoice app is turned on to backup the info on the app and I had to pay for this feature to be able to back up all my years worth of recordings. Now on my new iPhone after restoring from a backup 4 different times and transferring data from my old iPhone, the app is not showing any of my previous recordings and it doesn’t show they are loading. I even recorded a test record and it did show. I’m currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. My old iPhone is an iPhone XS Max and before that it was an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone 4. That’s how long I’ve been using this app

I love this app but it has one single fault NO SORTING FEATURE This should be a given ability for an app of this type. I make several recordings at a time 10-15 in a give time frame then as I go back to rename them from “My Recording” I regularly find they have been jumbled up with no rhyme to the new order. I currently have over 300 recordings and searching through all of them to find the ones I just made is a big pain. I would think having even a default sort field in the settings would be easy to do. Dynamic sorting would not have to be there but a static choice in settings would be good something I would pay for
