Once all the content is input into the game I’ll score it higher, but for now it mentions aspects of the game that haven’t been put in.
Download this game played it once really liked it, played for the entire day realized that there is supposed to be a skill tree to help with progression and that it just wasn’t in the game. I haven’t played the game for like 3 days in hopes that the next update would have the skill free. PS: It did not
Assault charge feels very "early access". It is a 2D auto battler rogue-like. The graphics are incredibly simple, but not bad. There isn't much progression. You continue to buy more units and equip them with better and better gear. However it's hard to tell what each piece of gear actually does. Same with the item and character stats. It seems like there is a lot going on in each battle, but I have no idea. I think that the UI is the biggest contributor to this problem. The UI is very bad. It's hard to get used to, and easy to make mistakes and accidentally sell an item or move it to the wrong character. Currently I don't see any monetization in the game, which is the only reason why this isn't a 1 or 2 star review. This game needs more features, content, a better UI, and some more interesting mechanics before they add monetization.
