This app is a lot of fun for very young children. You put together characters using three sliding panels (head, torso, legs) and when the character is completed correctly, there is an interactive animation presented. Overall, the app is well done. Reading is not required, but the name of each character is also presented through sliders like the illustrations. It's fun to make up silly characters with nonsense names with your kids! Great for preschool, kindergarten, and young elementary students.

My 7 year old loves this app. Switching between the different outfits and getting the right one in place is what she loves the most. Thank you for this naive app in the age of candy garbage

Not only is this app fantastic for strengthening decoding and phonemic awareness skills, it is also fantastic for fine motor skills and problem solving/processing. Children will continuously play this app without truly realizing how much they are practicing these core concepts! I recommend it for emerging readers, struggling readers, and even established readers. It is simplistic, brilliant, and FUNdamental learning at its best!
