Alyte

I wouldn’t recommend Alyte if you’re relying on them for airport transfers. The app claims to offer confirmed airport rides, but that hasn’t been my experience. Every time I’ve pre-booked a cab for an early morning airport trip, I end up without a reliable ride and have to scramble to book with another provider. My latest experience was particularly disappointing. I had pre-booked a cab for 4:00 AM and even received the driver’s details well in advance, which gave me confidence that everything was confirmed. However, the driver was completely unreachable when it was time for pickup. When he finally answered the call at 4:15 AM, he admitted he was 15 km away, despite previously indicating that he was nearby. It was clear that the ride was never actually ready as promised. Airport rides are time-sensitive, and reliability is the one thing customers expect from a pre-booking service. Unfortunately, Alyte has repeatedly failed to deliver on its promise of confirmed rides. I won’t be trusting the app for airport travel again. Uninstalling it forever now.

Writing this review after my husband’s experience. While Alyte is our go to for critical rides, the last experience has raised some concerns. Since we don’t want driver to get into any jeopardy, it is me writing and not him. For an airport ride, we got the driver at scheduled 11 pm. The driver was visibly very sleepy through the ride and when my husband tried to chat, we learnt he had been driving since 5AM!! The driver said he tried to explain but was forced to take the ride for the lack of availability of others. This is huge risk for multiple lives. While we really appreciate and trust the almost zero cancellations when it comes to Alyte, if this is the way they make it sure then it is just a matter of time before an unfortunate happening tarnish their image, and causing lifelong trauma to some innocent lives. Hope this is looked into

I had an excellent experience with this cab service. The booking process was smooth, the cab arrived on time, and the vehicle was very clean and comfortable. The driver was polite, professional, and knew the routes well, which made the ride stress-free. I really appreciated that the fare was reasonable with no hidden charges. Overall, a reliable and trustworthy cab service — I’ll definitely use it again and recommend it to others.
