DO NOT GET THIS SYSTEM!!!! my family (just my dad) has been able to connect to the cameras when we first originally got them in by someone doing it for him. no one else was home at that time so we couldn’t get them in on our phones and we have all been struggling to get our apps connected to the cameras. i’ve deleted the app so many times to just give up but i want to be able to use them!!!! it’s such a struggle ughhh. why does it have to be so difficult to try to figure out…it only lets you connect to the doorbell which is in toaster oven quality. so frustrated you have no idea. i wish i could give 0 stars. update: just called customer service and i had to verify with either my account password or an invoice number (which is impossible to find)…i told the guy my password and he said it was wrong but i was close…bro what. there’s only one password my dad ever uses…what else could it have possibly been :/ deleted the app once and for all.
I do not like how you can not pay or access your billing on the app and we have never received a paper bill to know our account to access one time online payments.... It’s very annoying to not see your billing and or be able to change how you pay your bill without calling customer service. Also, we didn’t like how sensitive the cameras are to any kind of “not good day” weather.... and if you can’t resolve the issue on the phone with tech support then they send someone out and make you pay for their visit even though you pay almost $65(at minimum)-$100+ a month for their services.... We went out of town on a vacation and had Wendy weather and couldn’t see out of our backyard camera for over two weeks even though we had called tech support and reset our router, there was nothing else that could be done until we returned from vacation to try and fix it ourselves over the phone. We will not be returning customers.
I called a few months ago (around November-January) when we installed the alarm system to find out if there is a panic button in the app and the associate said there was.. and once she checked her knowledge base, she proceeded to tell me there actually isn’t and apologized. I told her to put in some feedback on behalf of customers to add that feature since it is so important. Just today I opened the app and it’s the first thing I see under the the alarm status. There are 4 panic buttons: Police, Fire, Silent, and Auxiliary. Thank you for hearing my and many other people’s feedback and adding an essential feature to keep us safe.
