I’m not sure whether I expected to pay or not—it’s a free app, with In App Purchases. I don’t know what utility is offered for free, but the process of eliminating a zillion empty Albums from my Photos app couldn’t have been simpler: Give the app permissions to your Photos library, Tell it you want to mass delete the empty albums with a click, Pay the ‘Pro’ price ($2.99) and boom, they’re gone. Worth it.
Crazy that apple remove the ability to select multiple albums at once to delete but this came in handy!
