Haven’t used it extensively yet, but enough to evaluate the basics. Doesn’t look like it uses the system video player and controls, it uses their own, which is clunkier. It also does not allow for zoom-to-fit of theatrical widescreen (21:9) movies, so if you’re watching on an iPhone X or XS you’re stuck with letterboxing all the way around, which is ridiculous.
Just used this on my trip to Dallas and back to Indy. Downloaded before I got to the airport and followed the instructions. Was able to watch live tv with ease. Defiantly a good app. I was also able to track my flight while on the plan and see where and how long was left on my flight. Great job with this app. Read the instructions people if you are having problems!
This app is horrible. I bought my movie on the airline website and downloaded the app before we left the gate. When I tried to play the movie from the website it directed me to the app per usual. Then the app wouldn’t even try to play the movie I purchased, just kept giving me an error message: “Sorry, an error occurred while playing the video. A DMR (Digital Rights Management) error occurred. Please try again. If this occurs again please restart the app or your browser.” Never once tried to play my movie and now I’m $5 out for a movie I never got to watch.
