AI Photo Editor: Lynsify

Took some really dark photos at a concert and thought they were ruined. Ran them through the AI enhancer here and it brought back all the details without making it look fake or grainy.

The developer clearly leads the user to believe there’s a free plan for the app - which there is not. In the App Store description, the developer states that a subscription unlocks premium features and unlocks full access to the app. Clearly, implying the app has some features that can be used for free. The app opens with a screen that requires the user to purchase a subscription (3-day free trial offered) but there is no free option, no hidden “x” to close or bypass the page. If you’re going to require a subscription to open your app - be honest about it. Switch the description to say “a subscription is required to use this app” - users don’t appreciate being lied to or wasting their time.

I tried this app when I wanted to improve a few photos without spending too much time editing. What started as a quick test became something I enjoyed using regularly. The tools feel smart and easy, and the results look impressive with little effort. While some features could be refined, it’s still a fun and useful app for everyday photo editing.
