Action Tour Guide: Experiences

We were only in Miami for a very short time and some of my travel companions were 70 years old, making it hard to walk or bike long distances to see the whole city. This driving tour was perfect. It allowed us to see lots of neighborhoods and get a good feel of the full scope of Miami. We went to South Beach, Little Havana, Brickell, and a few other neighborhoods. The app was really impressive and easy to use. The guide gave directions on which way to turn (though some turns are quick!! Keep an eye on the app’s path to predict the route yourself instead of just waiting for the narrator). As we drove into certain locations, it triggered an audio segment to play and give us some history of the area. The guide was easy to listen to and understand. He spoke clearly and the volume was perfect. I personally wanted a little more content at each stop because I am a nerd, but my travel companions didn't mind the minute or two pauses in between stops. It give us time to talk to one another without missing content. I absolutely plan to purchase one of these in every city I’m in. Highly recommend!

Love Action Tours! So user friendly in addition to a complete guide to your visit to any of the Big 5 Utah National Parks. Love the way the app knows where I am located at all times. Easy to use in order or you can change the order of the sites you want to visit. The narrator does an excellent job narrating and gives you inside tips you don't get from any travel guide I've ever used. I just loved the Native American music in between longer stretches of driving. The App itself is easy to navigate and clicking on the More Information button at the bottom gives you specific instructions on the hike you my choose to embark on. Very helpful! You can click on the Map button and it shows you exactly where you are at. You just start the app once and it starts and stops as you move through the parks. I bought a Travel Book and hardly used it because Action Tours App was so complete. The background info provided also gives you a deeper appreciation for your surroundings. The graphics are beautiful and really help you to identify specific landmarks. The app gives you options to do the trails or hikes associated with each stop. It identifies for you the difficulty levels of the hikes so you choose what is best for your level. You also have options to follow the tour without hiking and lets you know of excellent photo op stops! I can't say enough good things about Action Tours! So easy to download your tour and off you go! I found it helpful to download the tour and to go through every page until the end the day before I visited the applicable park. It helped me to know what to expect and to plan my day. Tomorrow is my last Action Tour- off to Canyonlands!
