I really enjoy this app! I’ve learned so much about yoga and Pilates, and I’ve come to enjoy them both. As someone with narcolepsy, exercise is hard for me because I’m usually too tired to do anything. Having an affordable app to guide me through exercises I can do from home — many while seated or even lying down — has been fantastic and I’ve been able to get into shape and my body pain has decreased as well! I’ve recommended to a friend, and I would recommend to all of them if they were looking to do yoga.
I just, like two weeks ago just, started doing yoga at 47! I was very nervous and did not have anywhere near me to take classes. I am a stay at home mom and have gotten so out of shape over the past 9 years of not physically working a job. This app walked me through each step before I did it, and has different workouts for different levels. I love that it gives you an option for the voice you want to hear instructing you. You also get a choice of background music. I was absolutely amazed by how much better I feel just by stretching my body. I started with a quick 5 min session for a few days, now I’m up to two full sessions a day plus the sleeping routine. I must say I am really impressed. Overall the cost is way cheaper than going to a gym or a yoga studio would be and I don’t have to worry about someone else watching me while I learn.
I have had several yoga apps - I am middle aged woman with a sedentary job. I was having chronic back pain and mobility was severely declining due to nerve pain. I am unable to take pain meds and reluctantly tried yoga again. This App showed up in my search, before writing review I have been using it for about 6 months. Slow progression sections are perfect for growing abilities and building habits. I am now on advanced. It’s very challenging but my mobility has me feeling 10 years younger. There has been several app updates but my progress was not affected (other apps erased my progress- it was so frustrating) adding new sections keeps things fresh. Helpful articles and tips found at bottom of page. I haven’t tried the specific body focus programs yet. Just getting my mobility back has been incredible. This app is well laid out and has options for many levels of ability. When you have become better able to move from one pose to another you can reduce the rest time. There is also a section now to follow progress and graph weight. Overall I am very pleased with this app and the continued updates. Will definitely keep subscription.
