Daily Yoga: Yoga for Fitness®

This is a great app (see the 1000s of 5 star reviews), BUT 3 related warnings. 1st, before you purchase, be sure to note the different subscription levels. The “basic premium“ does not include many of the unique or advanced offerings. For that you need a “master workshop“ subscription. The meditation offerings are also separate. 2nd, the app hits you with a veritable ONSLAUGHT of advertisements for the additional offerings (the two I mentioned and for some e-books). Typically, purchasing a subscription frees the user from incessant soliciting. The lack of a free trial (at least at the time I purchased) ups the ante a bit. 3d, you cannot differentiate between sessions that are included in the premium basic and those that are not until you click on the particular practice. Sometimes they will open, and sometimes they will lead you to another request to pay for the upgrade. In the end, I’m going to stay with the app at least for now, but I would have had more faith in the company had some of what I have described been more obvious at the time of purchase. (The extra subscriptions don’t cost much, but…). Hats off to the marketing team, but shame on the business ethics group (if they exist).

Thank you for existing. Im recovering from a brain tumor that was removed two weeks ago, found out i was due for seizures yesterday that medication would not have helped. I was on drugs healing and wrote a very upset review because I found very basic stretches are no longer available like they used to be. I have had multiple head injuries which has damaged C3 and C4 spinal cords in my neck since 2012. Daily Yoga stretches has gone above and beyond healing my life since 2014. Life is insane if I don’t stretch. Thank you for always being available. I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me and assist with informing me about the changes that have occurred in the last decade.

I will be 100% honest. This is a good app. I enjoyed using it. However. I signed up for the yearly membership with the thought that I would use it. Unfortunately I did not use it as often as I intended to. For some reason this subscription does not show up in the subscriptions tab in the Apple profile like every other app that I have used. So I did not realize that I was going to be charged for auto renewal and I did not know when. The charge came out at a very inopportune time and when I contacted the company to request a refund they denied me referring to their guidelines of not having cancelled 24 hours prior to the auto renewal. Anytime this has happened to me with any other app (which has been on rare occasion) the company has understood and issued a refund. For some reason this company is not willing to accommodate. Great app, terrible customer service. Beware when purchasing that it is difficult to cancel should you decide to do so. Update - So after some back and forth through email, the company offered to refund me half of the renewal fee and cancel my membership. So now I am paying $20 for nothing. I’m not sure how much more of a scam these crooks can pull. ***DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP!!*** There are apps just as good that have much better customer service. Apple should be more selective of the businesses they allow to be on their platform.
