Yatzy Dice Game for Buddies

Sometime in January 2020, I received a message ‘Check Your Internet Connection.’ My internet connection is working fine for the other games I play so I deleted the game and reinstalled it a day later. I still received the same message so I was going to notify the developer but the site is not in English. As a result, I decided to write a review. The game is fun, I really like playing in the tournament but now I can’t play it. If the problem is resolved, I will update my review.

Played single and tournament Yatzy all the time until a month ago when I started getting Check Internet Connection error message. Help support site is in some language I don’t understand so it’s junk now.

(Updated 9 May 19) I really enjoy the game. It is my main go to game when I am bored. The IOS 12.2 update seemed to fix the freeze problem I reported earlier. That being said, the last update was nice correcting a number of reported bugs and issues. To those griping about forking over money for additional rolls, go look up the Facebook page for the game. It might save you some money. I am up to a 2.44 million score and have never paid a penny for a single additional roll. Now, continuing issues that prevent a 5-Star review: 1. Being a software and a systems engineer in crypto programs I can tell when the randomizer is not true or is using a bad seed value. Please take a look statistically at your ‘random’ roll of the dice. True randomness would not have subsequent Full House rolls over and over in a single game. Randomness would also not create repetitive 4 and 5 number sequences in the same game multiple times after each other. 2. When I am down to a single number left and I have three (or more rolls) I find it suspect that the number never comes up in any of the rolls, not even a single die in the roll. As another reviewer commented it smacks of being rigged. If not the case, then please correct the final sequence of rolling again providing a true random likelihood of the needed number coming up, at least once - to finish the game. I do enjoy this version of Yahtzee and will be happy to update my rating and review should a future update resolve these issues.
