Click “add new lock” Tells you to press option 8....but there is only 1 - 7 on keypad. So can’t even add new lock. Waiting for support. Can’t use new lock.
Want to have lots of unnecessary headaches? Pay for product features that never can be accessed even after 16 calls to technical support? Returned the product for a new one, same issue. Replaced the product with a new lock the Nest X, still absolutely useless as they won’t sell the Nest hub that accompanies the lock. Yale needs to stay out of the smart phone business as every product I bought from them (6) does not work as advertised!!!! Get an August product instead. But Yale bought them too now, so they may start going down hill like the rest of their products. I own 2 of these, the Bluetooth never works and keys were never able to even be created. I also bought the push button Yale lock with ZWave. That’s the only lock that works in a straight forward way. Tried to escalate to Yale CEO, no luck. I’m continuously blocked by their technical support. I’m at the point of calling their Investor Relations.
Yale needs to fix this twist and go feature. I can’t give people digital keys because it doesn’t work. I want to schedule keys for my dog walker but the feature is useless. You want me to pay 2$ a key for a system that doesn’t work!! I can’t describe how pointless this app is or how disappointed I am purchasing this lock. I’m thrilled I have an over priced keypad door lock. I could have spent half the amount buying a dumb lock that works as well as this “smart” lock. Yale please fix this app or your locks so I can use it as intended.
