I love the app. My grandma and I have so much fun with it. The only problem is my voice over. Just says the word button when I’m scrolling through the stories I can select. I am visually impaired, so that isn’t exactly easy. About the Accessibility issue, I appreciate that what I had to say was acknowledged and not brushed off. I don’t think I’ve ever heard from anybody about an app before saying that they would try to do better and for that I am extremely grateful. On behalf of other visually impaired people in the world, I believe that we should not have to accept a world where there is absolutely no room for accommodations, and that’s the same for people with other disabilities. It makes a huge difference when somebody finally says, “we see you and understand the frustration”.

New Review: After writing the below review, the developers contacted me to see what the issues were. They asked for screenshots and further description, and were very happy to get the feedback. Why? So they could make the app better for all of us. I’m sure the issues I found will be fixed soon. Play this app now. And love it, knowing the developers really care about the user experience. Old review: Mostly a great app. Stories are funny, voice works mostly perfectly. But the lack of clarity of what it takes to earn more stories coupled with many stories not showing the full text on screen is making me regret my purchases. Play the free ones and then find a new app until they update this one enough.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the developer, and while we were not able to determine what caused the issue, he was able to come up with a solution. My son now has the collection he wants, and he’s very happy about that. I also purchased additional story collections for my younger son. They love the stories they can create with this app. Since they’re close in age they like to compete with each other, and the scoring feature is great for that. Teaching parts of speech can be cumbersome. This is a great way to get/keep them learning while sparking creativity and keeping them entertained. The ability to save their stories is also pretty awesome. They love to show me the stories they’ve created. Great app and learning tool!I downloaded the app for my kids. I wanted them to have a fun way to learn parts of speech. They loved it! My older son wanted to buy one of the story collections because he had already gone through all of the free ones. I approved the purchase. However, the story collection never appeared on his phone. The money was taken. When we tried to restore the purchase it said it was purchased with a different Apple ID. It wasn’t. I cannot find any other way to get in touch with the company other than Twitter (or hopefully this review). I don’t have a Twitter account anymore. It’s unfortunate that the creators of this app do not make it easier to contact them. Customer Service and Support should be at the forefront of their business model. Apparently, it is not.
