WTOL 11: Toledo's News Leader

WTOL is refreshing! It is a local station with a big feel!! They care about their community and their attention to details and the real FACTS and it is reassuring in a difficult time rife with hearsay, obvious political agendas and discord across our nation! A very difficult time. The NEWS should present the TRUTH and REAL news, not agendas to influence and sway- that can be dangerous as we have seen. In many cities across our nation this past year! TOLEDO is truly an all AMERICAN CITY! No agendas, just families, the strength of large industries and the support of unique, small businesses that are vital to all of our well being! Cut down on the pop up advertisements and advertisements for news clips. When something is live I shouldn’t have to wait 2 minutes to join missing information because of advertisement commercials. School delays I look for each day no matter what, but I always have to go through the entire page scrolling looking for the link. That should always be at the top of the list during school season. You could also look for different companies to advertise.. such as small businesses. I know several but never see anything for them. Maybe not have them just for advertising but maybe have a feature that runs weekly looking at small businesses throughout the area in different trades. Not just who you have now either.

I was using the old app and saw that there was a new one, so I deleted the old and downloaded this new one and am probably going to switch back. The app doesn’t scroll smoothly, has a ton of old news prominently featured on the home page, and is not as customizable as they want to make it seem. I have tried to add favorite topics but it doesn’t change anything with what you see on the home page. I don’t like that I can’t scroll from story to story anymore either. You read one, then have to go back to the home page, look for the next headline, read that story, go back to the home page, etc. Sometimes I can’t even find all of the new stories from the day. There are headlines listed as local news but they are from other parts of the country, and you don’t realize that it isn’t a local story until halfway through the article. This is a horrible news app.
