Worship Backing Tracks

This app has helped me tremendously. As a pastor/musician, I many times don’t have the time to learn all the songs. Plus I am not that fluent on the keys but I do enough to keep the service flowing. This app has been able to take some pressure off of me musically. Our drummer plays along with me. I’m able to fall back on the parts I don’t know and things can keep moving forward. I’m still learning how to use the various features like looping. I do will that instead of only having the fade out option that there’s a stop feature as well. Also, I would like to be able to start certain songs in a particular section and not have the key changes that the original song may have. Little tweaks like this would make it easier for people in my circumstances.

I have been a subscriber for quite a while. In the beginning of my subscription, the weekly songs presented were very helpful in enhancing our worship experience. Over the past year and a half, the songs have been a little disappointing. I have made several suggestions on mainstream praise and worship songs that are sung by many praise teams, but none of them have been selected, instead we have seen a large amount of CCM, hymns, choir songs, solos and very traditional songs from the 60s and 70s. I eventually gave up and stopped making suggestions. It seems as tho the app is losing its original purpose of “praise and worship” for small groups that have very minimal musicians. Most likely, choirs will have a full band and tracks don’t seem necessary. I want to continue to support the app, but it’s difficult to continue to pay monthly for songs that we can’t use.

I discovered this app a few months ago and I thought it would be perfect for my church. We don’t have musicians right now so finding instrumentals was challenging but the Lord blessed me to find them using other sites. But having Worship Backing Tracks has taken things to another level. It has truly helped to enhance our worship experience on Sundays. I am thankful to the Lord for blessing me to discover this amazing app and I’m thankful to the staff that work hard to put the music together and make it available to those worship leaders like myself that really need this.
